FAQ
How many temperature monitoring channels does the TG series support?
The TG series comes in four models: TG08, TG16, TG24, and TG32, supporting 8, 16, 24, and 32 channels respectively. Each channel connects one temperature sensor. Multiple TG units can be networked via cloud platform for larger monitoring systems, with no limit on the number of TG units per site.
How long does the TG battery last?
The TG unit uses 2× 18650 Li-ion batteries or 1× 18650 Li-ion battery. In normal monitoring mode (30-minute intervals), 2 batteries last approximately 110 days, while 1 battery lasts about 35 days. Low battery alerts are sent automatically, and hot-swappable replacement is supported. Each TG unit ships with 2 batteries by default: one in operation and one fully charged as backup.
What is the maximum cable length from the TG unit to sensors?
The maximum cable length from the TG unit to a temperature sensor is 250 meters. Sensor cables are heat-resistant, durable, and internally rectified — no polarity distinction needed when connecting. Custom lengths available from 0.5m to 20m in 0.25m increments. See "Two Main Approaches to Mass Concrete Temperature Monitoring".
How does the TG unit connect to the network for data upload?
The TG unit has a built-in 4G-DTU module. Insert the SIM card (included by default) for 4G wireless data upload. Once data reaches the cloud server, it can be accessed from any phone or computer.
Users may also utilize the TG's optional Ethernet (RJ45) / WiFi / RS485 / CAN / LoRa wireless interfaces to connect to a site LAN or router.
In environments with no network at all, users can retrieve TG data via Bluetooth + mobile app.

Will data be lost if the TG unit loses network connection?
No. The TG unit has built-in solid-state storage that retains 31 days of historical data with automatic backup every 30 minutes (or 1 hour). When the network is restored, all data from the offline period is automatically uploaded to the cloud, ensuring data integrity. In environments with no network at all, users can retrieve TG data via Bluetooth + mobile app.
What types of temperature sensors does the TG series support?
The TG series uses HYT-ADSXX high-precision temperature sensors by default, with ±0.2°C accuracy (@25°C). Measurement range: -55~153°C. Sensor cables are heat-resistant (up to 120°C), durable, and internally rectified — no polarity distinction needed. Custom cable lengths from 0.5m to 20m in 0.25m increments are available, with support for self-extension up to <250m. Multiple sensor types are supported — please call for details.
How is the TG unit installed?
The TG unit is wall-mounted, compact in size (~270(with antenna base)×150×60mm), and can be fixed inside a site electrical box or dedicated protective enclosure. Sensors are embedded in concrete with cables routed to the unit. Installation requires no special tools — everything uses plug-and-play connectors. See Sensor Placement Animation.
Does the TG support temperature differential alarms?
Yes. The TG system supports multiple alarm thresholds: maximum internal temperature, internal-external differential, surface-core differential, etc. When limits are exceeded, a local dedicated audio/visual alarm triggers, and alerts are pushed via SMS, WeChat, cloud platform, EMAIL (or dedicated client, or custom receiver). Alarm conditions and thresholds are fully configurable to meet specification requirements and project conditions.
Additionally, the DG system on the same platform can be integrated to monitor and control on-site equipment such as flow meters, frequency converters, solenoid valves, etc., enabling automatic temperature regulation.

Does the TG system require software installation?
No. Data collected by the TG unit is uploaded directly to a VPS / cloud server. Users access the cloud platform via a web browser to view real-time data, historical curves, and alarm records — no client software needed. Mobile app and WeChat mini-program are also supported.
For on-premises deployment, we support standalone deployment mode both domestically and overseas. Minimum requirements: 2C4G · 120G SSD, with Ubuntu 22.04 LTS or Docker environment recommended. The platform is currently in development and testing; thorough validation is required before deployment. Multi-server architecture can be adopted later as needed to avoid single points of failure.

What is the operating temperature range of the TG unit?
The TG unit operates from -30°C to +80°C (industrial grade), suitable for most construction sites. For extreme cold, placing the unit in a protective enclosure with insulation is recommended. Sensor probes (measurable range -50~153°C) with cables withstand up to 120°C, suitable for internal concrete monitoring. For asphalt and other high-temperature/high-pressure conditions, armored cables are required.
Can multiple TG units be networked together?
Yes. The system supports flexible connection of an unlimited number of TG devices per site, with all data consolidated under one cloud account for centralized management. Users can monitor real-time status of all sites and devices via map view — ideal for multi-site, large-scale monitoring projects. The platform also supports separate accounts per site for different management granularity needs. The configuration module offers exceptional visualization flexibility, supporting differentiated data presentation for any number of devices.
What is the warranty period for the TG unit?
The TG unit comes with a one-year warranty and lifetime repair service. Free repair or replacement is provided for non-artificial damage during the warranty period. We also offer free technical guidance, solution design, and user training.
What is the wireless transmission range of the TG system?
The TG system transmits data via the 4G network. As long as there is 4G signal coverage, data can be uploaded normally — no distance limit nationwide. Once uploaded to the cloud server, data can be accessed anytime, anywhere via phone or computer, from any location with internet access.
